BIKE TO LE MANS in 2012

The famous Le Mans track! This is our second 24 hour moto race. Le Mans is approximately 360 miles from Calais, the first half of the trip is motorway down to Rouen, we then proceed on a fun A road taking you direct into the heart of Le Mans.
Our camp site is just outside of the track, but still only a short walk, the field we camp in is much smaller than the Bol dor but still noisy. Once you arrive your tented accommodation will be up and ready. The toilets here are kept in a better condition than the Bol dor and a shower was found near the Dunlop Bridge in the circuit should you wish for one. We do provide water and bowls for those who can make do with a strip wash for two days.
As well as the race, you will find a fun fair and a lot of stalls selling everything a biker could want, they are usually pretty well priced and if you find the owners, a bit of bartering can be done!
The race normally starts 2pm Saturday afternoon, and finishes 2pm Sunday afternoon, however we have always found it best to leave the site at midday, this avoids a lot of traffic and you have a big ride ahead.
